I was tasked with developing the UX/UI and visual assets for Scorio, a prototype mobile app designed to foster community interaction with local public greenspaces. Scorio motivates users through engaging, gamified challenges that cultivate environmental awareness and a love for nature. The application's design actively supports a mission of making civic ecology accessible and promoting citizen science. At the end of each challenge users are prompted to capture an image of the nature they encounter, directly contributing to local environmental databases, such as tree inventories. The visual identity relies on a clean, accessible vector style with a friendly, vibrant color palette. This style was deliberately chosen to engage a broad target audience, from families to casual hikers, ensuring the app feels inviting.
