As the Graphic and Layout Editor for The Pendulum, Clemson’s international affairs magazine, I conceptualize and design the visual layout for each semesterly edition. My role includes developing cohesive cover illustrations and structuring interior spreads that support and elevate the publication’s editorial voice.

The magazine’s clean, minimalist visual style is intentionally crafted to complement the sophistication and intellectual rigor of its writing. Each issue features articles authored by students from universities across the Southeast, offering thoughtful perspectives on global affairs and international issues. Through considered typography, balanced composition, and purposeful illustration, the design aims to foster an environment that encourages intellectual exploration and civic engagement while making complex topics visually approachable.
